Maré

After years of missing a space to celebrate the arts at my school, along with two colleagues, I came up with MARÉ, the "Gracinha's Artistic Expressive Movement." The movement was born as a space where students could create and debate, expressing themselves artistically. The first edition of MARE concerned the resignification of Brazilian modernism. The three of us founders directed 50 student, who created wonderful artworks and extremely coherent discussions.
